Welcome to Woodlawn Cemetery.

This cemetery is special to me, as I have many relatives buried here.

CONGRATS TO ?? for FTF!!!!!

The Family:

When you get to the posted coords, say hello to my Great Grandma and Grandpa Price.

Great Grandma Price was an amazing woman, and Great Grandpa Price was so loving and caring, according to my mom.  Great Grandma Price was very strict but certainly a woman of faith.  She was a very "Baptist" ... Baptist.  She wasn't too comical nor jovial, but this is where Great Grandpa Price rounded out the union.  The story goes, that Great Grandpa Price was a jokester!  Not just a little practical jokester, but a huge gut wrenching, joke-pulling massive jokester.  He was an amazingly sympathetic and loving grandpa  - father for her.  My wonderful mom - Betty Webster - was raised by these two amazing people.

Great Grandpa Price delivered dairy - milk, eggs, et al.  One time, it was reported by someone - who shall remain nameless to protect the innocent - that after delivering the goods to one of his customers, that the tied all of their huge family's shoes together before leaving the premises.  And apparently, the response from the family was "Oh!  Mr. Price has been here again!".  I'm not sure that was the reaction that Great Grandpa Price was looking for, but it certainly shows his shenanigans were well known and loved.

Although, I never met him, I hope one day to meet him and play some really kewl practical jokes around YHWH's throne room.  But I suppose an all-knowing Creator could put a damper on the "surprise" part of this activity!  Oh well, I'll have to see.

The puzzle:

The final coords are: N 43 33.(Y)(A-4)(B-1) W 080 16.(Z-4)(C+6)(D+5), where;

  1. There are three words at the top of the headstone, using the first two words, count the number of letters. This is "N".
  2. Using your favourite Caesarian Shift convertor, "N" is your offset, thus giving you ROT"N" cipher.
  3. Convert these two words into their "encoded" counterparts.
  4. Using a elephonetay eyboardkay, reduce each of these words to single digits, the first word = Y, while the second word = Z.
  5. There are four (4) dates on the headstone.
  6. Using Great Grandpa Price's year of birth ... take the digital root (1 digit). This is A.
  7. Using Great Grandpa Price's year of death ... take the digital root (1 digit). This is B.
  8. Using Great Grandma Prices's year of birth ... take the digital root (1 digit). This is C.
  9. Using Great Grandma Prices's year of death ... take the digital root (1 digit). This is D.
  10. Calculate the final, then go retrieve it! See hints!
