Dr. C.B Harris bought this house in 1870 from Joe Rolette. The Dr. used part of the house as a night office. Dr. Harris was the first civilian Dr. in ND. The house has gone through a lot of floods until a dike was built in 1975. All the Dr's children and most of his grandchildren were born in this house. It is the oldest framed house in Pembina. His grandson, Charles H Walker, bought the house in 1978. He passed away in 2009. His wife Hetty is still residing in the house.
