Waterworks Conservation Area is located on S 6^th Street, just outside of town. It offers a great location for picnics, paddling, and watching wildlife. The 10-acre site has a restroom, pavilion, short trail circuit, and access to Two Lick Creek. Interpretive signs on site give information about the artificial wetlands and plants, site history, and abandoned mine discharge remediation efforts. Easy walk in, along the path.
