Up periscope Traditional Cache

This is part of a loop around Bryn Bach Park near Tredegar.  The loop aims to raise awareness of the previous Bronze Age activity in the area some 3,000 years ago, the more recent mining activity and the subsequent manner in which nature has reclaimed the land and enabled  all types of wildlife to thrive in suitable habitat.  The loop was created by the Younger Persons Group

Confused visitors looked into the water at the lime green car which, according to some, had rolled into the lake after the driver forgot to pull the handbrake.  Luckily the driver of the vehicle had left the car!

Commenting on Twitter, Robert Davies, who saw the car around 2pm on Monday, said: “From what I heard a woman left the handbrake off and it rolled in and she only realised when she was half way cross the lake.”
