Geocache Description:

Siera Alpha cache series - covering the Postcode area that begins SA. A wonderful place to live that i'd like to share with fellow cachers.

The Afon Sawdde is a river in the county of Carmarthenshire. It's source is Llyn Y Fan Fach which is a lake of glacial origin sitting in a deep Cwm beneath Bannau Sir Gaer. The river is closely followed by the A4069 road. The reason for placing this Cache is simply to take in the views. The river sits next to Llangadog Village Green at Carregsawdde. Llangadog is very proud to celebrate it's horse racing, traditionally a race is held in the locality every Easter Monday. There are picnic benches just off the road near the river and a pull in bay to park up in each side of the Bridge over the Sawdde. This could be a C&D though stopping for a time out to take in the open air is recommended. The Cache is a film pot in a seal bag.
