Geocache Description:

Welcome to our Freaky Things series. These caches a placed along the Apollo Bay Coastal trail, starting at the Surf Club and ending at Wild Dog Road. It’s a 2.5km walk along the beautiful Apollo Bay, and a great series to do with the geokids.

Snakes freak lots of people out and, although I have a healthy respect for them, they don’t freak me out unless they get aggressive. I remember some snake expert telling me you could identify snakes by looking at the scales on the underneath of their tails!! As if!!!!! If I see them I walk off in the other direction!

This cache, the first in this little series, begins at the start of the walk and then leads you up the path! At the posted coordinates you will see a sign that contains all the clues to this cache.

A = according to the sign, 10000 steps is close to ?.5km. (first number is A)

B = Marriners Lookout Road is ?.4 Km one way (First number is B)

C = How many “3”s are there on the fourth row of signage

D = The number of times the number 10,000 appears on the sign + 2

The cache Co-ordinates are S 38 45.BCC E 143 40.BAD

You’re looking for a small tube. Please conceal the cache well after logging as it is a high muggle area.
