Creekside Revival Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

flatenr: Gone missing again. I've heard of homeless activity in the area, but didn't see any evidence when I went to look for the cache. The hiding place had been completely turned over and I didn't see the cache anywhere. Going to archive for now, maybe something new in the future as I would like to continue sharing this location with others.

Geocache Description:

Going back to my geocaching roots on this one. My very first hide "Billy Goat Gruff" (GC1H580) was located right near here (placed almost 9 years ago!) before work was done on the bridge in early 2013. There is space to pull out on both sides of the road south of the bridge. Access to the cache is from a small trailhead on the western side of the road, south of the bridge.

You are looking for a small plastic jar, containing a logbook (Don't mind the wrong name on the logsheet, hid a cache a few days ago that turned out to be too close to some caches that weren't published yet) and a few small trading items. The cache is not near the creek and if you have little ones with you, please keep an eye on them as the water can flow hard. If it's hot out, enjoy a dip in the creek! As kids we spent a lot of time down here in the summers. Terrain rating reflects all seasons.. during the rains the trail down from the road becomes a slight stream. You won't need boots or anything, just be aware! Please remember to replace the cache exactly as found - thanks! FTF gets to move the TB that came from France!

Congratulations MulderClan! on being FTF!
