This place is now a preserve but it has not always been this way. The area was once the home of the Fernald Feed Materials Production Center, the first link in our country's nuclear weapons production. In 1989, with the end of the Cold War, this Production Center closed and the area became a superfund site. The cleanup began and then ended in 2006 with this place becoming a nature preserve.
This wherigo gives you a short tour of what happened here. You will visit four different places and answer four different questions. When you have answered all questions correctly you will be given the coordinates of the final. Be sure to copy those coordinates down.
