This is one in a series of geocaches highlighting the beautiful landscapes surrounding Wellington. Remember to always take care on back roads. Don't be too distracted by the view and not see oncoming vehicles - at times you could easily forget that you are not the only one driving this road as you don't see people passing too often.
There is plenty of room to pull off the road and wander around near the cache. Here is another little church, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. However, Finger Post was a locality that, once upon a long time ago, had need for a church and probably a school in this remote location. Its interesting how transport and sealed roads made little places like this redundant.
