This cache is in the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. There is no need to get off any trail or bush wack. The trails here are crushed stone, so this is a good all weather cache. No prickers or stinging nettles. Shorts in summer (heck, year round if you want).
This cache was a traditional cache, but the feds wouldn't allow for hunting geocaches here. ( (but hunting and killing animals, fishing, hiking, and bird watching are. Go figure. ) Your federal dollars at work. This is a great area for bird watching, so bring your binoculars and your Peterson's Guide. To claim this cache, e-mail me the year that the Ohio Audubon Council built this structure.
