Any excuse for a party, right? There are a multitude of reasons why you organise a get-together, some of them valid, some of them flimsy. In my case, it could any one of the following:
- It's about time I hosted an event, and you've got to start somewhere
- If things go according to plan, this will be my second to last dot day
- Attending an event in November may be a requirement for certain challenge caches (especially a certain spelling challenge...)
- A quick catchup for people who may not have been able to make the GIFF Event cache
- Catching up on the latest news about the WENZ Event 2018
- The nearby traditional cache has recently had a fresh logbook for those of you still to collect this one.
- Because it's fun!
Whatever the excuse, this is intended to be just a quick informal gathering in Midland Park. Near to the Katherine Mansfield statue. If the weather's nice then we'll be sharing the area with lots of muggles but we'll try to be near this corner as much as we can. Even if it's raining there's some sort of shelter available.
The logbook will be available from around 12.30 to about 1.30. Feel free to keep chatting before and after, but unfortunately work is work.
Did you know that planning has started for a major Geocaching Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the WENZ Website or visit the event's page on Facebook and don't forget to log your attendance on the WENZ Event Page
