U Kolanjskom polju nalaze se stari bunari iz rimskog doba (dio rimskog vodovoda koji je vodio do Caske) kao dokaz vremena kada su svi mještani dolazili na ovo mjesto koje obiluje pitkom, čistom vodom neophodnom za život.
Odlazilo se tamo po vodu za domaćinstva, žene su nosile robu na pranje, a muževi punili posude i odnosili vodu stadima ovaca čiji je uzgoj karakterističan za ovaj otok.

Im Feld von Kolan findet man alte Römerbrunnen (und Teile der alten Wasserversorgung die nach Caska führte) die beweisen, dass gerade dieses Gebiet für die Einwohner von großer Bedeutung, wegen seines klaren Trinkwassers, war.
Man kam hier um Wasser für den Haushalt zu holen, aber auch um Wäsche zu waschen und den Schafen, deren Zucht typisch für die Insel ist, Wasser zu bringen.

In the Kolan field there are old wells from the Roman times (a part of the Roman canal that led to Caska) as a record of time when all the inhabitants were coming to this place rich in potable, clean water necessary for living.
This is where people went to get water for their households, women would carry laundry to be washed, while men would fill their vessels and carry the water to the sheep stock, the breeding of which is typical for the island.

Nella Piana di Kolan ci sono alcuni antichi pozzi d’acqua d’epoca romana (parte dell’acquedotto che portava l’acqua a Caska-Cissa) a testimonianza del tempo in cui la gente dell’isola accorreva in questo luogo per approvvigionarsi di quel bene indispensabile per la vita dell’uomo che è l’acqua potabile.
