Follow a side trail north from the Ball-Perkins Trail, or walk up the ravine from the Woods cache. By all means take a walk 100 feet north of this cache to see the 80 deep Ball-Perkins Ravine. Note this cache has been moved 50 feet April 2021 due to camping activity at the original location.
Ball-Perkins Park is an 80 acre park in northeast Grand Rapids. There is a new east-west trail through the previously undeveloped park (Sept. 2017). I have added several caches throughout the park to help you get familiar with the park. Most of them do require walking through or around some brambles. Some may flood in wet weather. The only official parking is at the Community Gardens on Perkins Avenue at N42:59.520 W085:37.240. Enjoy the Park.
