Crossroads of America was designated as the official state motto of Indiana in 1937.
Where those crossroads were, is for up for debate. Some say they were in Terre Houte and have erected a historical marker there to ensure its legitimacy. Others say the crossroads were in Indianapolis, as it’s the state capital.
The intersection that you are standing at is another possibility. US 30 traverses the United States east to west from NJ to Oregon. US 41 begins in Michigan's upper peninsula and ends in Miami, FL. Where these highways meet is considered by some to be the Crossroads of America because these two highways bring north, east, south and west together.
How to play
Download the cartridge linked below. Then stand in any of the four corners near the intersection of US 30 and US 41 (the posted coordinates). DO NOT go into the intersection, you simply need to stand in any of the four corners near the intersection. Once you enter the zone at any of the four corners, the game will begin.
You will be asked trivia about the state of Indiana. Once you have answered all the questions correctly, you will be given the coordinates to the themed cache which is nearby.
