THE GEOCACHE is a family friendly, six inch (15cm) cube lock&lock container, in a camo bag, covered with additional natural camo, hidden at the base of a tree, about thirty feet along a short track into the trees, in Hound Corner, not far from a gate leading to a field used by muggles so beware, and there is no access to the cache from the field. There are swaps, a paper log and pencils, and plenty of room for Travel Bugs. Wellies are recommended in wet weather. The geocache is deployed with the kind permission of Hound Parish Council.
THE VENUE for the HO series is a family friendly group in Hound Corner and St Mary's Wood, in Hound. Some sections are road walks with paths but beware of traffic, and other sections are countryside tracks some of which can get very muddy in wet weather, so wellies are recommended. Please use the tracks and gates provided. There are lots of seats and a small pergola in the cemetery.
