The remains of the Ming City Wall are located in the central part of Beijing, ranging from the southeastern corner tower（DongBian Men） in the east to ChongWen Men subway station in the west，about 1500m.
北京残存的明代古城墙遗址位于城市中部偏东南位置，东起东便门角楼，西至崇文门地铁站，全长大约1500米左右。
Beijing Ming City Wall originally built in 1419, the 17th year of the Yongle period, the city wall in the Ming Dynasty was about 40 kilometers long in total. The current 1.5 kilometer city wall, which used to be part of the inner city wall, is the only section left from the Ming Dynasty. The southeastern corner tower, built in 1436, is the largest of its kind existent in China.
北京的明代城墙始建于1419，即明成祖朱棣永乐17年。最初时城墙约有40公里长，但目前仅余1500米，这段城墙是原来的内城城墙的一部分。东便门城门楼建于1436，是中国现存最大的古建筑城门楼之一。
