BASSO CRIMESTOPPERS: Case #1 STOP THIEF! Traditional Cache

In the Geocaching community, the people are represented by 2 separate, but equally important groups: The Geocachers, who find the geocaches, and the Muggles, who attempt to thwart the geocachers.

These are their stories.

There was a crime reported on the Basso Valley Trail recently. Here is the actual report:

On Sept 27, 2017, a hiker on the Basso Regional Trail reported that a stranger on a mountain bike stole her purse, then rode away. A fellow hiker witnessed the crime, and gave chase. Eventually the suspect crashed his bike, and the purse flew into the air.

The purse has not yet been recovered. Anyone having information on this crime, please contact Basso HQ. As a reward, you may keep the first $1,000 found in the purse.

A suspect has been identified, shown here. He is a rough-looking character, who often poses as a financial advisor. He is believed to be dangerous, so approach with caution. He often is in the company of a vicious attack dog. He also travels on yachts a lot. (The man, I mean, not the dog.)
