Adventure out into the South Branch of Plum Creek in Ambrose. The South Branch of Plum Creek (SBPC) is located in the Crooked Creek watershed. It is considered impaired due to the high amounts of agriculture in the area and silty waters. One way to help improve the quality of the stream and reduce the amount of sediment in the water is to protect the stream bank from erosion. We do this by planting trees, grasses, and bushes along the stream corridor. The wider the buffer, the better the water quality becomes!
