St Paul's Evangelical Cemetery Traditional Cache

This cache is loacated in the small town of Jamestown in northern Moniteau County.  There are paved streets and roads, so it is accessable in all types of weather.  According to the 1980 "History of Moniteau County" St. Pauls Evangelical Church of Jamestown was  established as the Evangelical St. Paul Gemeinde on February 4, 1863 one mile west of Sandy Hook.  In 1877, the Church moved to Jamestown.  In 1875,  the Church united with the Evangelical Synod of North America.  In 1934, the Evangelical Syod united with the Reformed Church and became known as the Evangelical and Reformed Church.  It became the United Chruch of Christ in 1959 when the Evangelical and Reformed Churches united with the Congregational Christian Church.  Permission has been requested to place the cache.  There is ample parking in and around the cache area.  This Cemetery is still used so in the event there is a funeral in progress please come back later.
