Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Auburn Geocaching Adventure 2017. If you are participating in the Adventure, be sure to record each cache's code word in your series passport to verify your visit.

At the posted coordinates in Centennial Viewpoint Park you will find The Long Look, a bronze sculpture of a deer on a log. The sculpture is perched above the Auburn Valley with a spectacular view of Mount Rainier and is meant to bear witness to the changes of the valley, from the Native American settlements, agricultural and industrial economy, and on into the future The Long Look was cast by Brad Rude in 1992 and, following theft of the deer in August 2012, recasted in 2013. Brad Rude is a Washington artist. sculptor and story teller and his studio is in Walla Walla. .

To find the final coordinates for the cache look for a plaque a few steps to the left (north) of the sculpture, the plaque titled Centennial Viewpoint Park followed by the park's dedication date. On the plaque, find where it says City Council and look at the word two lines directly below the word 'Council'. Find that word in the following list below and the coordinates you want and a hint will be to the right of that word. Only one of these coordinates is correct:
