Geocache Description:

Cache placed for the 2017 KNC Geocaching Extravaganza, Fall Edition! The KNC offers a beautiful natural setting to explore, 10+ miles on 14 different trails of various terrain, and chances to encounter wildlife! There is an admission fee to hike the trails. April through October the trails are open 9am to dusk. November-March the trails are open from 9am-6pm. More details are available at http://www.naturecenter.org/ to help plan your visit!

This cache is located off the Bluebird trail, as you start to approach the southern end.  You'll be within sight of the railroad tracks and might even get to see a train, but there's no need to go near the tracks!  This one may get you thinking a bit as it could be a bit tricky!

Did you know?  Meat-eating dinosaurs are known as theropods, which means “beast-footed,” because they had sharp, hooked claws on their toes. In contrast, plant-eating dinosaurs tended to have blunt hooves or toenails.  Leaves us to wonder what shade of nail polish they preferred.

As always, it's up to you whether or not to pursue finding and signing the log on a particular geocache -- please know that you choose to find each of these geocaches, and do so at your own risk. Please be considerate to the natural surroundings as you enjoy all that KNC has to offer, and try to leave the environment a little better than before you visit!
