Home to abundant wildlife and one of the most impressive and vast wetland ecosystems in the country, the preserve is an ideal spot for nature lovers. Bird watching is a popular activity here, as viewing decks and observation towers are available. Make sure to check out the remains of the historic ice ponds and the Erie Canal, as well.
Parking is available at N39 21.373 W84 31.144 and N39 20.778 W84 30.724
The park has many manicured trails and most of the hides are near them. It is a wetlands park and the terrain set reflect the access when the water is high. If you plan well, you can more easily approach the geocaches when the park is drier.
