Beekeeper99: I'm closing this one down due to traffic safety reasons. Just too much heavy traffic on this narrow section of road.

Geocache Description:

This cache is for everyone but those who are county cachers, this one is for you.

If you're rolling down I-24 take Tennessee exit 11, go north about 6 miles, there you will cross the state line into Kentucky and pick up your Todd County Cache. Plenty of safe parking about 75 feet from the cache. Nice wide walking are to the GZ. Muggles drive by, so be careful. Bring your own pen. Your looking for a pill bottle covered in duct tape.

Please be careful, this is a very busy road. Keep the kids in the car on this one.

3/9/19 Update: Changed out container. The one that was there was holding up well, but I'm getting to where I don't trust pill bottles when I can do a magnetic. Yes it's a magnetic keyholder now, it's not placed where the wasps build their nests but check above the first post. Again be careful.

Todd County was formed in 1820 between Christian and Logan counties in the Pennyrile region of Kentucky with a landmass of 376.35 square miles. The county was named for Colonel John Todd, a frontiersman and uncle of Mary Todd Lincoln. He died at the Battle of Blue Lick. Todd County is the birthplace of Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Poet Laureate Robert Penn Warren. Cities within Todd County include Trenton, Guthrie, and Elkton (county seat). Smaller communities within the county include Fairview, Clifty, Allensville, Kirkmansville, Sharon Grove, Allegre, and Daysville. According to the 2007 U.S. Census, the population is estimated to be 12,044 with a total of 5,255 households countywide. With a total population of only 12,500, much of the county is preserved in a picturesque rural landscape. It is one of the top agricultural producing counties in the state. Contributing to that agricultural base is the oldest Amish settlement in Kentucky.
