Taken us a while to get to this point.
After 4 years we finally bagged 1000 caches, so thought it was time to give something back.
This is a top spot for us as it combines 2 more of our 'things to do' Great vantage point for filming steam trains when they run though the spectacular Lune Gorge. Parking for this can be found close by either on the railway bridge or down in the layby.
Other thing we did was bring JackScorpian here when he was more heavily into 'Eddie Stobart ' spotting. Kitted out in a hi-vis/fluorescent t-shirt he would wave at all of the countless Eddies that pound the M6. All of them would wave back, most would flash lights, blow horns. Soon discovered that he could wave at anything off the bridge and they would all do it.
So grab a cache, wave at an Eddie, or if lucky see a steam train ( times can be found online)
Only room for the log, good idea to bring some writing equipment, and maybe retrieval tool.
Great views of the southern end of the Lune Gorge here as well
