Geocache Description:

Kit Hill Country Park. A park which is part of the Tamar Valley Area of Natural Beauty and renowned for it's mining history and achieving World Heritage status for this history. It was given to the people of Cornwall by the Duchy of Cornwall in 1985 to celebrate the birth of Prince Andrew.

Just below the summit on the southern slope is a small granite quarry. A very picturesque place now nature has taken over. Like all old quarries there are jumbles or rocks lying around and this cache is hidden in amongst one of these rocky areas. You are looking for a small clip and lock box that is well hidden. Nearest car parking is on the summit and access to the cache site along well worn tracks. It can be busy here so take care. This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the Kit Hill Park Manager and complies with park and geocaching guidelines.
