Geocache Description:

Come and watch the 17 finalist films of the 2017 Geocaching International Film Festival as part of a global geocaching movie night.

There's no arguing that Geocaching is an ART, as much as it is a game. In designing a creative container, writing a memorable log, or going to great lengths to reach a cache, we express ourselves every time we play.

Date & Time: Friday November 3, 2017 6:00 - 8:00 pm



Where: Meadowlark Park Community Hall Hockey Shack Lounge

(entrance off parking lot on south end)


Format: Potluck dinner with movie screening


We are showing the 17 finalist films of the 2017 GIFF on the 50" flatscreen TV in our Community Hall Lounge. At 6:00 pm we get the event started with a potluck dinner, so please bring some easy to eat goodies, snacks or whatever you feel like plus your favorite non-alcoholic beverage. We provide plastic cutlery, plates and paper cups.


At 6:45 pm we will start the screening, which will take about 1 hour, with some time left to mingle and wrap up the event at 8:00 pm; plus the food will also be kept available for those still hungry.


We will have seating for 40 people available. There are chairs, but only the basic folding style, so feel free to bring your own more comfortable seating arrangement.
