New Market Mallers (Eric) identified a few cachers as Good Guys over the years. I’ve met a lot of people in the Geocaching community and I can say without hesitation that Geocachers, in general, tend to be GG’s. I wanted to use his attainment of 2,000 finds to make sure that he knows that we think he is also OOTGG’s.
Eric’s commitment to mentoring of new cachers was evident when I first got to know him. He has always demonstrated a great level of patience with those learning the game. He has a wide variety of quality hides with total favorite points now approaching 1,000. A number of his NYPL caches were nominated for and won awards in the 2016 NYC Cache Awards. He’s also hosted a number of well-attended fun events.
A caching mentor, great hides, memorable events and a dedication to the game. Clearly, OOTGG’s!
The only thing I cannot explain about Eric is his fixation on the TV series, “Married…. with Children”. What’s that all about?
