Welcome to Caledonia, the Gateway to Haldimand County, always A Grand Experience! This series consists of three caches, two traditionals and one mystery final, that will take you on a short tour of urban Caledonia. The traditional caches will each contain partial coordinates for the final.
The caches in this series are:
Grand River (GC7CTH5)
Suburban Marsh (GC7CW5H)
Gateway to Haldimand (GC7CW5X)
The Grand River runs for 280 km through southern Ontario, emptying into Lake Erie in the southern part of Haldimand, hence the "Grand experience" the county offers. It is quite shallow through Caledonia and is a popular spot for fisherman, canoers, kayakers, and of course geocachers. Stealth may be required at some times of year and I suspect you'll want to break out the boots for this one. Access the cache from the stairs at the Riverwalk - to do so from the other side of the bridge would be trespassing.
BYOP and don't forget to record the partial coordinates inside! You will need them to find the final cache.
