If you have made you way along the borrow pit, the trail has come to an end and the cache is located behind the large pine right in front of you. You will now be making a left turn and heading inland. There is a bit of stepping between tree roots so take your time and be carefull.
The nice thing about doing this in winter is you can skip the Crossroads cahe and walk across the frozen pit.
