This cache is basically a park and grab. It is located in a park beside Columbia Avenue in Castlegar, at the top of Sherbico Hill. There's lots of parking on 13th Street.
It's a nice little park with two distinct personalities.
Facing the road is a rarely used space. It's nice, it's green, it has trees, but it's not peaceful.
Between the power poles and the fenced in power transformer station is the peaceful other half of the park. It's a small area of lawn with one big tree bisected by a busy little path. Every day groups of kids make their way up and down the hill following back streets, trails and paths to and from school. Other people also walk their dogs using the same route. It directly connects a small industrial area with a small residential area.
The cache is hidden where two prominent features meet.
