WRW #4: Monster Tree
The cache, a small camo-taped plastic pot, is hidden in this huge tree just off the riverside footpath a little west of Beanlands Island. Kindly ensure it is replaced carefully & properly covered - thanks!
To reach the cache location: either . . .
a) from the east: park at N 53 55.774 W 1 47.965 on the roadside/pavement of Leeds Rd (A65) carefully watching out for traffic on this busy road. Make your way some 80m west to start of the public footpath which leads down to the stepping stones. Then head upriver to the cache location or
b) from the west: park @ N 53 55.954 W 1 48.876 off Denton Road on the north side of the suspension bridge.
Cross the bridge and head downriver along the riverside trail.
