Geocache Description:

The Legend of Bent Pine Hill

High upon this lonely hill,

Among the twisted pines,

Now rests a hidden treasure trove

Good fortune 'midst the vines.

Sweet gold rewards the lucky few,

Its said, who find it first.

Now, heed my warning searchers, though,

An ancient tribal curse.

Pine tree weeps for brothers lost,

Its pitchy tears rain down.

Nettles coarse, sharp fingers grasp.

Each bramble draws a frown.

Tread careful, friends, on bent pine hill,

Respect this humble space.

Each item that you leave behind

Erodes this unspoiled place.

I placed this cache in honor of our nearby CITO event. I thought it would be nice to give everybody another cache to find. This container is a medium sized camouflaged vitamin bottle with a short pencil to sign the log with. There is also a hand-hammered FTF tag for the taking. As the poem suggests, there is also "Gold" for the first 5 cachers.
