Geocache Description:

El cache se encuentra en la cuarta palmera en direccion hacia KFC. Contando como primera la palmera mas cerca a la estatua del Condor ,hasta llegar a la esquina de la calle donde hay un letrero que dice "no camiones".

El Parque Salazar fue inaugurado el año de 1953 en homenaje al piloto de la Fuerza Aérea Peruana teniente Alfredo Salazar Southwell quién tuvo un gesto heroico el 14 de septiembre de 1937 cuando sobre volaba el distrito miraflorino, falló su avión incendiándose casi inmediatamente y en lugar de estrellarse en esta zona urbana llena de gente, se dirigió hacia el mar donde cayó finalmente, por este noble gesto se inauguró dicho parque en el que se levanta un monumento representado por un águila que simboliza "La inmortalidad", este lugar se caracterizaba por ser, muy bonito, tranquilo.
