The Speen Moor caches were some of our first finds and great fun to introduce our friends to, so we have put a new child friendly cache out. It is a medium sized, camouflaged, plastic box and contains a logbook, pencil, travel tag and some child friendly swag when first placed. There's also a small first to find prize.
We are placing this cache as part of a homework project for our five year old son Archie. He was tasked with making a gift for a friend, under the topic of 'important people'. As both boys enjoy geocaching with their families, what better gift than a geocache to share and enjoy together. This is a child friendly cache which will hopefully contain lots of swaps and be temporary home for some fun travel bugs too. The cache is placed just a short way from a popular walking trail, but can get muddy underfoot in inclement weather.
