This series is a tribute to my father. Dad had a story for all occasions. Teaching me to drive was no different. My very first time out to drive with dad at my side I rolled the first stop sign we came to. Dad made me pull over immediately. This was to story I got.
Kilroy was driving through town one day and rolled a stop sign. When the cop pulled him over he said I pulled you over because you didn't stop at that stop sign. Kilroy's response was, I slowed down and saw no one was coming, what's the difference? At that point the police officer took out his out his billy clud and started hitting old Kilroy on the head and said you tell me do you want me to stop or just slow down!!
Dad's been gone for many years, but to this day sometimes when I pull up to a stop sign and come a complete stop I might add I giggle a little remembering this and all the other great stories dad gave me. Hope you enjoy this series.
