Geocache Description:

Welcome urban adventureres to CityPlace and Canoe Landing Park, adjacent to Terry Fox’s Miracle Mile.  Here you will find Thomson’s big red canoe and its lookout over the Gardiner Expressway, Lake Ontario and the neighbouring towers.

The big red canoe is one of four Coupland public art pieces at Canoe Landing. The canoe pays homage to Tom Thomson, Canada’s foremost landscape artist. Named as one of the best makeout spots in the city, it’s likely best not to try hunting here after dark, unless you don’t mind disturbing amorous couples.

Prior to CityPlace developing this land and the park’s opening in 2009, this land was part of the old railway yards.  After CityPlace began developing on the east side of Spadina in 2000, they used this area for a driving range.

You are looking for a nano container.  You will need your own pen and possibly tweezers to extract the log.

Congratulations to dhcmca for FTF!
