I Wä finns det ett antal vägar som är döpta efter Danska kungar. Detta som en påminnelse om att Skåne vid olika tider genom historien har varit Danskt.
Kungen som gett sitt namn till denna väg:
Kung Nils (Niels Svendsen), född cirka 1064, död 1134, dansk kung från 1104 fram till sin död 1134.
Nils var den yngste av Sven Estridssons söner. Han efterträdde sin bror Erik Ejegod på tronen. Som regent var han svag och viljelös, men lät leda sig av sin kloka gemål Margareta Fredkulla samt efter hennes död av deras son Magnus.
Under Kung Nils tid skall det ha varit förhållandevis lugnt i Danmark, hans utrikespolitik var emellertid alldeles för lam, och vid ett slag i Venden den 9 augusti 1113 led han ett betydande nederlag.
Det var Kung Nils tillsammans med sonen Magnus som stod bakom slaget vid Fotevik den 4 juni 1134 varefter han flydde till Urnehoved där han utnämnde Harald Kesja till medregent. Strax därpå begav han sig till Slesvik där han den 25 juni blir dödad av borgarna på sin brorson och tronrival Erik Emunes befallning. I och med Kung Nils död är därmed det danska inbördeskrig över.

Nils was the youngest of Sven Estridsson's sons. He succeeded his brother Erik Ejegod on the throne. As regent, he was weak and weak-willed, but was led by his wise wife Margareta Fredkulla and, after her death, by their son Magnus.
