This is the fifth cache in a series along the Crossford to Pitliver track. Parking is available at the co-ordinates given (N 56 03.500 W 003 29.603) this is on street parking at Arkaig Drive, Crossford.
This series of caches has been taken over by Mangoesxford in October 2017 from wla2010 who is no longer active and has moved away. We would like to maintain these caches in our area.
This part of the walk will most likely be wet and muddy, therefore wellies are strongly advisable. The railway line that the path crosses is the Methil to Kincardine line. It was not used for passenger trains, but for transporting coal to Longannet Power Station (now closed).
