Geocache Description:

Marley Gap Brook flows southeasterly from Wyton Airfield to the Great Ouse at Holywell.  This series follows the part of it that runs along Conger Lane in Holywell towards St. Ives.

Suggested parking is near the Church where there is space for 1 or 2 cars. From there walk to Conger Lane.  The gravelled road soon ends and a pretty footpath begins with the brook alongside and some lovely old trees. The path can get quite muddy in winter and after heavy rain.

Please note you will need tweezers to extract the log from at least one of the caches in this series

To reach the cache it's best not to go the more direct way indicated by your GPSr, but rather look for an easier way around. This will involve a bit of scrambling around to reach the right place. You will need to go close to the water edge, so TAKE CARE.

Please note it is close to a lake and the water level can rise after a heavy rain. Be especially watchful of children if you have them with you.
