The Boneyard Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

jscotti: I intended to replace the container but upon surveying the area, it has changed significantly since the cache was placed and the abundant small bushes that used to provide hiding spots have suffered from the extended drought and no longer provide sufficient cover. So after nearly 4 years in place and almost 300 visitors, I've decided to archive this cache. Thanks to all who enjoyed this cache and location. Jim, Team Scotti

Geocache Description:

View part of the worlds 3rd largest Air Force while hunting for this microcache.

This cache is a small rubbermaid container, definitely a micro cache, but big enough for a few items. I left pencils and a sharpener (please leave the sharpener!) to log your entries along with the following seed items: a whistle, a compass, a Shuttle Astronaut keychain and some notebook rings.

There was a report of a nearby rattlesnake - this is the Arizona Desert, so be careful & watch where you put your hands and feet!
