Today I placed this cache with tinytrailstwo in honour of our first caching trip.
Tinytrailstwo and I headed out one morning on a regular caching day. Chased a FTF which we got (ohhhh yeahhh). Then did a local Cemetary Multi followed up by one of North Bays most favorited caches.
Epic adventure to say the least at this point.
Next we were heading to the college but fate turned us around and brought us out to Laurier Woods for 1 last remaining cache out here at the point.
During our search for the cache we heard some faint noises in the background. Instincts told us to check it out glad we did as we came across a camper who had been injured from waist down and could not get help he said he spent 2 days out here immobilized search and rescue made the trek out and saved the mans life
Today we decided to head out and get that sad lonely DNF. Found it. On our journey we left a cache honouring the experience.
Always keep in mind safety and respect while adventuring in the wild. Let someone know the area you’re travelling and an eta for return. It may just save your life.
