Geocache Description:

2018 New Year Cream Tea Event

First of all many thanks to all who voted for our Cream Tea Event in the 2017 British & Irish National Geocaching Awards - we won First Prize!

Judy's & Dave's Fifth Annual Event

For the fourth consecutive year we have arranged to use The East Dart Hotel in Postbridge for our New Year Cream Tea event. As in previous years the East Dart will NOT be open to the public on this day, so this will be a private function. This means that there may be additional costs involved and we proposed to cover these by charging £3 per adult or £1.50 per child, which will include your Cream Tea. The cream teas themselves will be donated by the event organisers. The event will run from 3pm until 5pm and we would anticipate everybody leaving by 6pm.

We are aware of the annual letterboxers' trip to Fur Tor and you would be very welcome to park & set off from the East Dart in the morning and then return for our event.

As per last year, it is anticipated that there will be other activities organised for the day, maybe a traditional treasure hunt and almost certainly some new caches available from 1st January.

Please do let us know how many there will be for cream teas - don't forget to put the cream on before the jam!

Further details will be available nearer the time.

Have a Very Happy Christmas, see in the New Year and come for a Cream Tea!

Well behaved dogs on leads will be welcome.
