Geocache Description:

A point of Interest along the Walk Trail to Merredin Peak.

You will come upon the foundations of a Water Tank that was built during World War2 to supply water to the very large Hospital that was situated at the base of the hill. ( You might also like to take the walk along that trail to learn more about the Hospital, and many facilities)

Congrats to AUSNINJA666 First to find, and less than 2 hrs old...well done

ย

Whilst the walk is a pleasant one, and informative, I would warn those who may have difficulties accending and decending steep gradiants to be aware.( I had to use my Walking Staff )

The Trail starts at the Railway Dam, and leads you along a water course contructed of Granite blocks to channel the water run off into the dam.

( More information is supplied on the plaques along the way )

The walk to the Peak, which is on the next rise, is well worth the efforts...and takes in the views of the bush reserve to the East, town to the South, the Wind Farm on the horizon to the S/E.

Take water, and take your time and enjoy.

The CACHE is a Small sized Container, with room for a few swapables, and the normal log and pen.

Be sure to swap UP, with equal or better value.

Also please place cache where you found it. ( A TOOL maybe required to access cache, and such tool should be close at hand)
