Via Ferrata Deanna Orlandini

Le Rocche del Reopasso sono costituite da una cresta rocciosa di conglomerato e si trovano nell'Appennino ligure, in valle Scrivia, tra i comuni di Busalla, Crocefieschi e Vobbia, all'interno del Parco naturale regionale dell'Antola, in provincia di Genova.

A differenza della maggior parte delle montagne dell'entroterra genovese (generalmente costituite da costiere erbose, raggiungibili con facili sentieri) le Rocche del Reopasso sono di difficile accesso, da lì deriva probabilmente il toponimo Reopasso deriva probabilmente dal latino "reus" che significa malvagio, infido.

Le Rocche si estendono per circa un chilometro e fanno da spartiacque tra le valli dei torrenti Vobbia e Seminella, entrambi affluenti dello Scrivia.

Questa cresta rocciosa comprende alcune cime Anchise (incudine), 882 m s.l.m., Biurca (punta bifida, perché formata da due punte rocciose), rispettivamente di 934 e 941 m s.l.m. e la cima più alta, che per la sua forma è chiamata in lingua ligure Carrega do Diao (Sedia del Diavolo) alta 956 m s.l.m.

La Via Ferrata Deanna Orlandini realizzata nel 1978 dal Gruppo Escursionistico Busallese e dedicata a Deanna Orlandini, una giovane alpinista precipitata durante una salita invernale sulle apuane, è di difficoltà media, difficile in alcuni tratti, è divisa in 4 settori:

1° Settore - l'Anchise - 35'
2° Settore - la Biurca - 50'
3° Settore - traverso - 30'
4° Settore - Carrega do Diao - 30'
Discesa e ritorno a Crocefieschi in circa 1h lungo sentiero segnalato F.I.E.

Il primo settore porta direttamente su una cresta, seguendo il cavo si giunge verso la vetta del "l'Anchise" a 882 m s.l.m.
Da qui scendendo lungo un sentiero si giunge ad un colletto tra il primo settore e il secondo settore detto "la Biurca", qui la ferrata ricomincia salendo gradatamente lungo la cresta che permette o di salire al Bivacco e poi alla punta nord (941 m s.l.m., la più alta dove è posto un crocifisso), oppure di proseguire verticalmente, su tratti a strapiombo, toccando entrambe le vette de la Biurca (punta sud 934 m, e punta nord 941 m) e quindi scendere tramite il terzo settore "traverso" in direzione "Carrega do Diao".
La discesa nel traverso, impegnativa e tecnica, scende di circa 150 m, e porta ad un altro colletto dove c'è la possibilità di prendere la salita verso la "Carrega do Diao" seguendo il cavo dal basso, oppure attraversare il "Ponte dell'amicizia", (un ponte stile tibetano con tre cavi d'acciaio) e attaccarsi direttamente ai cavi del torrione roccioso che sale verticalmente verso la Carrega. Salendo sul torrione si giunge ad un tratto pianeggiante che infine sale ancora verso la vetta della Carrega do Diao a 959 m.

The Rocche del Reopasso are made up of a rocky crest of conglomerate and are located in the Ligurian Apennines, in Scrivia Valley, between the communes of Busalla, Crocefieschi and Vobbia, within the Regional Nature Park of Antola, in the province of Genoa.

Unlike most of the Genoese hinterland mountains (generally made up of grassy coasts, easily accessible by easy paths) the Roops of the Reopasso are difficult to access, from which there is probably the name Reopasso probably derives from the Latin "reus" meaning evil, treacherous.

The Rocche stretch for about a kilometer and make a watershed between the valleys of the streams Vobbia and Seminella, both tributaries of Scrivia.

This rocky crest includes some Anchise peaks (anchovies), 882 m s.l.m., Biurca (bifida tip, because formed by two rocky tips), respectively 934 and 941 m. S.l.m. and the highest peak, which for its form is called in the Ligurian language Carrega do Diao (Devil's Chair) high 956 m s.l.m.

The Via Ferrata Deanna Orlandini, built in 1978 by the Busallese Hiking Group and dedicated to Deanna Orlandini, a young mountaineer precipitated during a winter climb on the Apuane Alps, is of average difficulty, difficult in some sections. It is divided into 4 sectors:

1st Sector - Anchise - 35 '
2nd Sector - Biurca - 50 '
3rd Sector - Cross - 30 '
4th Sector - Carrega do Diao - 30 '

Downhill and return to Crocefieschi in about 1h along the path marked F.I.E.

The first sector leads directly to a crest, following the cable leads to the summit of the "Anchise" at 882 m s.l.m. From here down a path you reach a collar between the first sector and the second sector called "Biurca", here the ferrata begins again rising gradually along the ridge allowing or to climb the Bivacco and then to the north tip (941 m above sea level , the highest place where a crucifix is placed), or to continue vertically on overhanging tracts, touching both peaks of the Biurca (south tip 934 m and north tip 941 m) and then descending through the third "crossroads" in the direction of "Carrega do Diao".

Then downhill in the transverse direction, descending about 150 m, leading to another collar where you can take the ascent to the "Carrega do Diao" following the cable from below, or cross the "Ponte dell'amicizia", (translation: The friendship bridge, a Tibetan style bridge with three steel cables) and sticking directly to the rocky turrets that rise vertically towards Carrega. Climbing on the canopy you reach a flat stretch that finally rises up to the top of Carrega do Diao at 959 m.
