FIESTAS PATRONALES
Las Fiestas Patronales de Torre-Pacheco tienen un origen ligado a la historia y las creencias del pasado. Estos festejos han ido evolucionando con el tiempo, siendo un referente para toda la comarca. Implican la participación de todo un pueblo, comprometido tanto con la tradición como con la innovación; son un motivo de unión de todos los pachequeros y los habitantes de las muchas pedanías que lo configuran, en torno a su querida Virgen del Rosario, a la que acuden en los momentos difíciles, demostrando el espíritu de tolerancia y respeto a otras razas y religiones que en este pueblo se manifiestan, multiculturalidad que perdura, no sólo en época festiva, sino a lo largo de todo el año.
Estas fechas son una inmejorable oportunidad para conocer los muchos atractivos y la hospitalidad con que Torre-Pacheco siempre recibe a turistas y visitantes. Suelen incluir un programa variado, lleno de actos destinados a un público familiar, de todas las edades. Desde el año pasado se está celebrando en la zona de R.A.D.A.R., área recientemente reconvertida en el verdadero parque de equipamientos públicos, necesario para una Villa de esta índole e importancia.
En las fiestas son de gran importancia las Peñas, que ofertan sus propias actividades y que, desde este año, ascienden a 99, y que contarán con su propio espacio acotado en el Recinto Festero. De este modo, se ha logrado que no se pierda la tradicional ubicación del centro del pueblo, en el que se siguen celebrando los actos más institucionales.
En su trasfondo hay un amplio tejido asociativo (cultural, deportivo, social), con personas emprendedoras, jóvenes y mayores, que son ejemplo de superación y voluntarismo de ayudar. Pero el verdadero protagonistas de las fiestas es toda la sociedad civil a la que están destinadas. Unos festejos en los que el pueblo se mantiene unido alrededor de todas las actividades organizadas por Comisión de Fiestas, con la ayuda de las Peñas y el patrocinio de las empresas participantes.
Este caché es un conmemorativo de las fiestas de 2017, que se convierten en algo especialmente emotivo por lo que significa recuperar la plaza de Los Patos de la villa, y por incluir la celebración del 150 aniversario de la configuración de la Plaza del Ayuntamiento, con reconocimientos a distinguidas personas de la localidad.
EL CACHÉ
Se trata de un caché perfectamente camuflado en el entorno, en una zona que puede ser de máxima concurrencia (en época de fiestas), pero que, en otros momentos, puede llegar incluso a estar solitario. Por eso, os pedimos que seáis discretos y recurráis a alguna maniobra de distracción, en el caso de haber muggles alrededor. Y que después dejéis el contenedor en la misma forma que que lo habéis encontrado, para que los siguientes geocachers puedan disfrutar de la misma experiencia de búsqueda.

PATRONAL FEAST
The Patronal Feast of Torre-Pacheco has an origin linked to the history and the beliefs of the past. These festivities have evolved over time, being a benchmark for the whole region. They involve the participation of entire people, committed to both tradition and innovation; they are a motive of union of all the Torre Pacheco's people (called 'pachequeros') and the inhabitants of the many districts that shape it, around its beloved Virgin of the Rosary, to which they come in the difficult moments, demonstrating the spirit of tolerance and respect to other races and religions which in this town are manifested, multiculturalism that endures, not only in festive season, but throughout the year.
These dates are an unbeatable opportunity to know the many attractions and the hospitality with which Torre-Pacheco always receives tourists and visitors. They usually include a varied program, full of acts intended for a family audience, of all ages. Since last year, it is being held in the area called R.A.D.A.R., area recently reconverted in the real park of public facilities, necessary for a Villa of this nature and importance.
In the festival, the Peñas (a sort of club or group of people) are of great importance, as they offer their own activities. Since this year, they ascend to 99, and they will count on its own fenced in space, in the Recinto Festero. In this way, it has been managed not to miss the traditional location of the village center, where the most institutional acts continue to be celebrated.
In its background there is a wide associative cultural, sports, social framework, with entrepreneurs, young and old, who are an example of overcoming and voluntarism to help. But the real protagonists of the holidays are all the civil society to which they are destined. These are celebrations in which the town is united around the activities organized by Party Commission, with the help of the Peñas and the sponsorship of the participating companies.
This cache is a commemorative of the festivities of 2017, which become especially emotional for what it means to recover the Ducks Square of the town, and to include the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Configuration of the Town Hall Square, with recognitions to distinguished people of the town.
THE CACHE
This is a cache which is perfectly camouflaged in the environment, in an area that may be very crowded (at times of festivals), but other times it may even be lonely. Therefore, we ask for you to be discreet and resort to some maneuver of distraction, in case there are muggles around. And then leave the container in the same way that you find it, so that the following geocachers can enjoy the same search experience.
