Considering how many geocaches are in the park and how much we enjoy this resource, I have contacted the Park Naturalist so we can can help clean up this area of the park that sees very little visitation. Please bring at least two, LARGE yard "type" debris bags (not kitchen bags) per person. (I would suggest you bring gloves and wear good hiking type shoes.) Once you get to the clean-up site, simply fill your two trash bags with debris and haul them out to the designated trailer provided by the park. I would like a couple of volunteers to help free the debris for pick up so that as cachers arrive, they can fill their bags and haul them to the designated pick up point. I am hoping that each volunteer will remove at least two bags of rubbish before going off to enjoy the park for the day.
Parking will be available off the main park road.
