Geocache Description:

Die HOFER Cacherunde besteht aus 22 Caches und ist ca. 18 Km lang. Diese sind zu Fuß, mit dem Rad oder Auto zu erreichen. 

Die Pieta auf rundem Unterbau und einer toskanischen Säule, stammt aus der Mitte des 18. Jh.

Die Pietà (it. für „Frömmigkeit, Mitleid“, nach lat. domina nostra de pietate „unsere Herrin vom Mitleid“), auch Vesperbild genannt, ist in der bildenden Kunst die Darstellung Marias als Mater Dolorosa (Schmerzensmutter) mit dem Leichnam des vom Kreuz abgenommenen Jesus Christus. Die Original Skulptur von Michelangelo steht in Rom im Petersdom. (Wikipedia)
