2017 marks the 75th anniversary of Cranberry Lake. On August 13th there were celebrations throughout the community, Lindsay Park being one of the locations. We grew up in Cranberry in the 50's and 60's. We skated on the lake in the winter and swam in here in the New Year. The first swim of the season was sometimes in February or March, most often in April or early May. By Mid May we switched to the much colder Powell Lake.
