Geocache Description:

Birdhouse style gadget cache placed on Lick Creek Greenway Trail. It is the little brother of GC7D75N "WHP - MegaGears". Finding this cache will be very easy. However, retrieving the cache container may be a challenge. Log only. Bring your own pen. Watch for muggles on the trail. You must provide your own Tool Of The Trade (TOTT) - a 9v battery.

The Lick Creek Greenway Trail, approximately 4 miles long, follows Lick Creek between Westfield Park/Creek View Elementary and Lick Creek Park. It connects residential neighborhoods, parks, and schools.

To solve this gadget cache, the correct two wires must be identified to power the motor to raise or lower the cache. Once the correct wires are determined, the cache will slowly reveal itself - so be patient! If you hear a "knocking" sound the cache is at the top, and reversing polarity will lower it down.

A picture of the gearing inside the cache can be viewed here.
