Geocache Description:

Quick multicache. Stage 1 coordinates is a small cemetary located within a residential area. Surprisingly enough, it is the final resting place of several Civil War soldiers. The burial grounds had been run-down and neglected for many years and it wasn't until recently that some improvements were made and a few of the grave markers were replaced. People had been driving cars thru the cemetery and a fence has since been installed on 2 sides where cars had been entering.

At stage 1, you will need to locate the 16 new grave markers. Find the row of 9, and proceed to the one that is located furthest South in that row. Next, find out how old this soldier was when he passed away. (Take his year of death and subtract the year of birth) Add the age to the last four digits in each coordinate... N41°45.9478 W88°17.9103 ...and you will have the coordinates for Stage 2. Stage 2 is less than 1 mile away. Updated on 8/21/18.: The original container was a locked ammo can and you needed info from the headstone to unlock it. With the high numbers of muggles in the area, the ammo can has gone missing. It has now been replaced with a 3"x4" lock 'n' lock type container. Obviously, you no longer need to unlock the container at the final coordinates.
